Do you know how to look for changes in your skin and stay protected to avoid skin cancer? Join us for a discussion led by General Surgeon, Lisa Minton, MD as she talks about the signs and sympotms of skin cancer.

 

Florida Hospital Altamonte and the Oviedo YMCA are partnering to bring you "Take Care Tuesday". This series will focus on a different wellness topic each month to educate you on your health. All seminars are free and conducted by a member of the Florida Hospital medical staff.

 

The seminar will begin at 11:30am in Classroom #1 at the Oviedo YMCA. The Oviedo YMCA is located at 7900 Red Bug Lake Road, Oviedo, FL 32765. A light lunch will be served.

If you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy, we would like to invite you to attend our free seminar and tour the Baby Place at Florida Hospital Altamonte.

We will also have presentations from a Lactation Consultant and a Certified Nurse Midwife.

Centra Care and Florida Children's Hospital will also be there to hand out important health information for your children. The Seminole County Sherrif's office will be giving away free fingerprinting kits.

Featured speaker Ayman A. Daouk, MD is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and total knee replacement. Dr. Daouk will provide an overview of degenerative knee arthritis and the varying methods of treatment that exist.
