Strength for Living/New Patient Orientation

Strength for Living is a new patient orientation program. This program addresses issues pertinent to an initial cancer diagnosis for patients/survivors and caregivers in a group setting. It is designed to offer a variety of cancer support and education information in a one-time, four-hour program. Patients and caregivers then have the option of attending the monthly Living with Cancer support group. Reservations are required by 4:00 pm the Thursday before each session. Dinner will be provided. Sessions having few or no registrants will be cancelled and alternative arrangements will be made for those affected.

All groups are held in the Radiation Oncology Center at Florida Hospital Altamonte.
