Florida Hospital Altamonte's Baby Place houses six Labor & Delivery rooms, two Post Anesthesia Care Units (PACUs), two operating rooms, and seventeen private Mother/Baby rooms, two of which are "birthday suites". Florida Hospital Altamonte's Labor and Delivery Unit also has a Level One nursery with immediate availability of neonatology and transportation teams.

Florida Hospital Altamonte's Labor and Delivery nurses and staff have an average of over 15 years experience. Our maternity patients have consistently given us high marks for the care they received, well above the national average for overall patient satisfaction.

Florida Hospital Altamonte also provides 4D Ultrasound. This unprecedented image technique coupled with 2D imaging allows physicians to monitor babies' development like never before.
